portal login page change as per client requirement

HI Friends,

i am new for portal ,i have requirement for portal login page should change and add image and username and password place also change. can any one send need full point as per requirement . or any pdf

Hi ,

To customize the portal login page ,

1)Download the logon par file from System admin->support->browse deployment.

2)Load the PAR file in NWDS (make sure all libraries are loaded).

3)Learn how existing login page is made , specifically about the tags used and the layout made.

4)After renaming ,Customize the logon PAR file according to your requirement.

5)Visual admin has authscheme.xml which stores the information like what PAR file need to referred for login page.Once the new logon PAR file is deployed .Change that property to refer new logon PAR file in authscheme.XML

6)restart the server.
