HpUX - 11.31
Oracle 11g
I am getting 'FRF-00007 Unable to open RFC connection' in the last phase of installation. Already tried latest kernel, restarted SAP and OS, restarted sapinst, but still same error. I am able to login to 000 as DDIC using saplogon with same password that given in the beginning of installation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We had upper case issue as Tomaa has mentioned, changed the password to upper and it worked.
Thanks Tomaa and everybody else who replied to this thread.

Thanks for your reply. Its not password issue. I am able to login to 000 as DDIC with installation master password.
Any other ideas?

Hello S.Zakaria,
please check whether the password is entered with CAPS on (or off). That is, the password is in uppercase or lowercase.
We've observed cases where sapinst tries to log on using the password in uppercase, whereas it's in lowercase. In such cases, please change it to uppercase and repeat the step.
I hope this information helps.
Best regards,
Tomaa Black
Hi,
I think the password was expired/locked/wrong .. why dont you try to reset the password or ..run a fresh install ?
thanks,
Deepthi
