BW 3.5 to BI 7.0 EHP2 Upgrade

Dear Colleagues,

We have to upgrade our BW 3.5 ABAP system to BI 7.0 EHP2 ABAP & JAVA system.

As per sap recommedation we are planning to have this system seperately and not has DUAL stack

We planned to upgrade BW 3.5 --> BI 7.0 EHP2 and then Install a new BI 7.0 EHP2 JAVA system and integrate both.

Is our strategy correct?

What are the steps to integrate BI 7.0 EHP2 java system with BI 7.0 EHP2 ABAP system ?

Hi Jai,

This is a very wide question. you should try to search for more information and post specific questions in the forum,.

At a high level your strategy looks ok, but it all depends what you are going to be doing in the future.

How to integrate java with abap? Search please, there are notes in oss, guides in SDN and help in SAP HELP.
