exclude stroage location

Dear Experts,

My clients requirement is:-

Suppose we have three storage location

1500-unrestricted use

1600-return sales

1700-unrestricter for repacking

While creating sales order material from 1700 should be excluded for sales(it should be in the stock but not for sales)

System should not do the availability check for 1700 storage location.

Experts I have fully check the forum,ovz9 and other suggestion not working.

Dear Dharmendar,

In the sale order level, only plant stock is being considered.

So you can follow the guidance given by Lakshmipathi..

Check and revert back.

In such case , if you can create a New Plant for Storage Location 1700-unrestricter for repacking.In such case ,you can remove Availability Check in Material Master record for that New Plant. So the Availability Check will not run for that Plant having St. loc. 1700-unrestricter for repacking.

You can also exclude Material in the Sales order by Exclusion Process wrt Plant & Material.So this Material will not be included if it is linked with that Plant.

Just try by not maintaining 1700 storage location in MMSC. Alternatively, you can execute MB1B with movement type 344 which will block and will not consider for availability check. You can check in MMBE also.

Actually we don't have PP so not having MRP VIEW in material master.

Kindly give some other standard solution other than MM-planning-define storage location MRP per plant

Then I don't see any other standard option. You must look into EXIT_SAPLATPC_001 in enhancement ATP00001 - User Exits in the Availability Check for adding coding to exclude particular storage location. Check with an ABAP'er for the same.

Check by adding value 1 or 2 in SLoc MRP indicator field in the MRP4 view of the material master. You can also discuss with MM specialist to see the impact on the MRP side.
