Automatic substitution while project creation

Project gets automatically released at the time of creation. And I want also the substitution to take place then.

Automatic substitution already ticked in project profile.

the substitution step goes as follows:

Prerequisite:

PRPS-OBJNR :1-2: = 'PR' OR

PRPS-OBJNR :13-14: = 'PR'

then substitute plant through user exit U555.

But this is not working. I go for manual substitution. Please advise.

Even if you have ticked 'Automatic Substitution' it will work only when you save the project. As of now there is no option of having automatic substitution immediately once the project is created.

It does not work when I only save the project. It works when I change the status of the project and then save. Or when I run a manual substitution.

I will get back soon it may be a problem in an S Program customized where this user exit is used. And where the logic for the exit is commented. May be that is the reason it stops working. I will confirm.
