Print Format Issue

Hi Folks,

We have created the new format X_65_140 in SPAD transaction. The new format is assigned to the Device type HP2200. But when we are printing the report we are encountered with an error Format "X_65_140" not defined for printer "LOCL" .

Any helps..??/

As specified by you, you have assigned the page format "X_65_140" to Device type HP2200. Is the device type assigned to Output device (LOCL)

1. Assign the device type to Output Device.

2. Click on the print , you need to provide output device . Below you have properties click on that, double click on format. Where you can enter X_65_140 format type.

Hi,

DEVICE TYPE ASSIGNED TO PRINTER..

To create a copy device type;

Tcode SPAD

Click on 'Full administration'

Choose the 'Device types' tab

Click on 'Display' (next to device types)

Choose Device type -> Create using template

Enter 'ASCIIPRI' (assuming this is your current device type) and a name for you copy.

Save.

Once this is created you can add the page format;

Tcode SPAD

Click on 'Full administration'

Choose the 'Device types' tab

Enter the name of the device type you've just created

Click on 'Display'

Click on 'Formats'

Click on 'Create'

Add you page type.
