Hi Faisal,
Being a broader concept Master Data Maintenance (MDM) has various connotations.
1. When we talk about business blue print, MDM refers to the master data that need to be created in order to run the SAP transactions. For example, if u201C Procurement to payment settlement u201D is the BBP, then MDM in this BBP should cover Plant, company code, purchase organization, material code, etc. without which this cycle cannot be run. In short in BBP under MDM you must mention the masters that need to be created in advance in order to run the process.
2. The other way round, MDM also means how you maintain you masters that belong to different modules. This may include various techniques in order to purify your existing master data and the tactics to arrest duplicate creation of masters.

Am not quite sure what you actually meant. You want to incorporate MDM in your project or are you just interested to know what are the master data in QM?
