Error in clock-in/out correction in ess

Dear All,

In sap required configuration is done as below for processing process:-

1) rule group-standard used

2) Define period for in/out correction:- a) processing not permitted on current day , (b) retroactive processing- 3 months, (c) processing depends on message .

3) Define processing period: a) used standard workflow. b) correction needs to be approved & enteries can not be deleted c) display field for next agent (ticked), d) Determine next agent (line manager).

when we try entering clock-in/out correction from ESS, we get error saying "date of correction is outside permitted posting period".

I surfed all post on sdn and cross checked configuration, still error is existing on portal.

Please guide me for correcting the same.

Solved with Siddharth input and EA_HR upgrade

Clock-In/Out Corrections: Period for Retroactive Processing

If you select this field, you can set a period in the past for which employees can process their clock-in/out corrections.

Dependencies

Selecting the field makes the fields for entering the period ready for input.

Now then you need to ensure the period he tries to correct or create lies in the period you have defined!

Hi Siddhart,

I checked all my setting again as described below:-

a) processing not permitted on current day:- (unticked).

b) Retroactive period: 20months

c) Processing only for days with message:- (Unticked).

Still dont know why error" date of processing outside permitted period" is coming.

Even we are using standard workflow.

Please suggest where am i going wrong.

Hi,

Whether that note number is 1116443 or 1116453. As when i searched on service marketplace, it gave me 1116453 instead of 1116443.

note should be implemented in your system

you can check via ptcor in backend the same error and debug here
