Finance BI data sources after functional upgrade.

Dear Friends,

We are using BI7.00 With NW2004S. Currently we are in the process of upgrading our R/3 version functionally to ECC6.00, we were told that the R/3 tables like GLPCT, GLPCA are no more going to be updated after functional upgrade.

We could not understand whether the current data sources 0EC-PCA1 etc will continue to serve the reporting purpose after functional upgrade, or should we use any other data sources supplied by SAP.

We are currently in dark about the above subject.

Experts kindly provide your experience and guidance for our understanding and solving the problem.

Hi,

I am not sure why these tables would not be updated after upgrade.

If you check the SAP Help site for BI content for 7.0 Content 704, the datasource still extracts data from there.
