Deactivation of Dummy Profit Center

Dear All

We at the time of implementation of SAP ECC 6, had used dummy profit center for all the company codes.

Now moving forward to improvement in Profit Center Reporting we want to deactivate Dummy Profit Centers for few Company Codes.

By using KE52 I am not able do the same.

Can anyone pls help on this issue??

Hi,

Please see the SAP note 702854 which describes in detail how to

deactivate Profitcenter Accounting.

Trx. 0KE2 deletes all master data except the DUMMY according to this note.

"Remove the dummy profit center from transaction 0KE5: To do this,

run the attached report Z30PCA23 (first, create the report in

your system). Note that this resets the dummy profit center

special status only. The profit center still has the active

status in the master data."
