PP-WM Batch Determination - SU Management

We are using SU and Batch Management , Pick parts

Production Order is released, Batch determination is not done at Process Order level. TR are generated automatically. The WHS converts Prod. TRsu2019 # into TO. Batches are determined at WHS level and stage the pallets in PSA and confirm the TO. The production operator at the terminal who actually post the goods issue to the order will not know what batches did the warehouse guys staged in PSA. We do not want to back flush the materials after process order confirmation (CORK) coz out of our experience we saw delays in process order confirmation. If performing CORK is delayed, in system it always shows there stock in PSA but in reality it has already been consumed. We want to the users to manually do a goods issue to the Order from MIGO Mov.type 261.

_Requirement:_ When the production TRu2019s are converted into TO and confirmed in PSA. The batches determined at TO should be updated in the Process Order. So when goods issue is done MIGO Mov. Type 261 , batches should default againts the components that are staged in PSA for that production order.

I tried some option in Mat.Master-MRP2-Batch entry 2. But No luck

Batch entry 2 is what will drive the batch copy into the process order. This is from a data set up perspective. This is typical if you are using pick part control cycles with 'DYNAMIC BINS'. If you are using static 'PRODUCTION' bins in these control cycles then you maintain the following configuration setting;

Under WW-PP interface in configuration. go to 'Warehouse number' under Define control data and and select 'PP Batch confirmation' for the relevant warehouse.

This configuration will enable the system to copy the batch information from transfer orders to process orders when TO's are confirmed.

Again, this configuration applies only when the pick part control cycles have static production bins. If it is dynamic bin the there is no setting since the copy of batch into process orders is a normal function with pick part control cycle with dynamic bins.
