How to stop the automatic http to https switch on sicf

Hi, all.

I have enabled https on the ERP server. So http and https are running on different port. However, when I punch in the http url to start a web dynpro app from SICF, the sap server automatically switches the http url to https. Now the https connection works fine. But then I lost the capability to connect via http and there are requirements to connect to both ways. Can you please advise?

Thanks

Jonathan.

Hi Trivedi

This solution works for us:

SICF---> Service --> Error Pages -> Logon Errors

Click the "Configuration" button half-way down the page.

Select "Define Service-Specific Settings" and then, under "Actions During Logon", set "Protocol" to "Do Not Switch".

Cheers

Marc

*Note: Use global settings has no effect for us. even if the global settings are maintained correctly.

SSL is NOT enabled on the logon data. Any other idea?

Thanks,

SICF---> Service --> Double Click Logon data

check to see if SSL is activated and Uncheck it.

Thanks

Please go to SICF, search for /sap/bc/webdynpro/, open the service, switch to the "Error Pages" tab and under the "Logon Errors" subtab there is a Configuration button at the end of the screen right next to System Logon. Click on it and under "Actions During Logon" set Protocol = Do Not Switch. Save the changes in SICF and test the scenario again. Let me know how that goes and if I can assist on anything .
