WIB - when using BPS Variable

Hi people,

I have created a combo box (dropdown) into a WIB, which references a BPS Variable.

Then I creaeted another combo box with the same varible, but this second variable is from another Planning Area.

I want to select a value in the first combo box and transfer this value to the second one. But it doesn't work.

Do you know why this is happening?

Hi,

Variable act wrt to Planning Area. Even if variables names are same, it will act different way if they are in two different planning Areas.

You can create an Exit type of variable to read the first and populate the second. Use APIGetvariable function Module to read the value of first variable and use APIsetvariable* to insert the values in second.

Thanks for your reply. Both variables are exit user type, they call the same function so they always have the same values, but in different planning aread.

Do you have any other idea about what I can dot solve this issue in muy WIB?
