How to hide or lock toolbar fileds by using script

Could you please let me know how to lock or hide toolbar fields by using script.

Hi Pavan,

It's not clear to me what you mean by toolbar fields. Could you elaborate?

Using scripting, it's possible to lock fields but not hide them.

Hi Vikram,

Requirement is In contract document (Goto Agreement --> select contract Document --> select or create any contract document)

toolbar we have EDIT , Document , Actions, Phases ,

we need to write a script to lock(or hide) Actions in above .

Hi Pavan,

I dont think its possible using scripting because I don't find any APIs for toolbars.

However, you can achieve this using toolbar customization.

You can use the following config :

Customization Type: Business Object

Target Class ID: Contract Document (2002)

Target Toolbar ID:system.toolbar.document.doccommon.contractdocument.contractdocumentactions.actions

Overrides:

Hidden -- Yes
