cost balance against process order

Hi,

I have one issue regarding process order settlment,

user has created process order in month of may, confirmation & settlment had done.

after that transfer stock from QA custody to unrestricted area.

Again goods receipt & goods issue had reversed manually through MB31 & MB1A in last date of month i.e 31 may

but due to price differenc in 101 & 102, some cost has been remained as cost balance.

when i am going to settle this amount on 1st june, system does not allow to do that giving errror message as given

"Status DLV/TECO was reversed after settlement of period 002 2011"

kindly guide for above case.

you thinking is correct, but thse types of mistakes are happens rarely.

this error has come when we going to settle order in previous month in period 02

as i have also tried for settle same ordeer in current month(in period03) & its get settled.

Hi Sanjay ,

It seems user has justed played along with the system..

After settlement , if they have to reverse TECO /DLV.. they must need to reverse the settlement first ...and then did it....

This would have avoided the position...

I dont know wether the balance can be settled.. Just try to reverse the Process Order Settlement and then try to settle the process order again..

Please get back with your findings...
