Not much difference between both. CR2011 has had an incremental update with some new features.. notably the read only report format (rptr) to which you can export the report. Such rptr files can only be viewed in report viewers.

Read more about this on a blog [here|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/24151] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken];

Merge modules and runtime msi's can be found at []

Hi Deepu and Spockeureka,

Sorry I should have clarified, CR 2011 does not have an SDK with it nor does it have any redist files.

You have to use CR for Visual Studio 2010 to get the SDK and redist files.

See this for the download to install into VS 2010:

Thank you

Hello Don

Does Crystal Report 2011 has only support VS 2010? But I use VS 2008 do not support?

Thanks.

Crystal Report 2011 - no SDK

CRVS2010 is equivalent to CR 2011 and has SDK that will run CR 2011 reports.

CRVS2010 only supports VS2010

To work with .NET 2008 you will have to use CR 2008. CR 2008 will be able to run reports created in CR 2011
