sales order batch determination

Hi Gurus,

I am making sales order with free goods determination. When I entered quantity in sales order, two line items created means second one is for free goods but in the second item batch is not picking automatically whereas in the main item automatically batch picks up.

Hello

Check the Item Category (VOV7) determining for the free goods in the sale order.

For your requirement, indicator for Automatic batch determination in general control of Item category in use should be active.

So, so re-access your Item category determination for these free goods in sales doc type used.

I have checked in item category, the indication of automatic batch determination is active, still same problme exist
