Change company address format

Former Member

Hi all,

I am trying to change the my company's address. What I did was to go to (SAP B1 v. 8.81) Administration >>> System Initialization >>> Company Details (under GENERAL tab)

My previous technical staff had formatted the company address as in the order below:

Street / PO Box

Block

Building/ Floor/ Room

City

But I will like to change it to the following format:

Street / PO Box

Street No.

Block

Building/ Floor/ Room

City

Somehow, there is no link for me to do such changes.

Sorry for such a noob question, I'm not a techie in nature, ='(

Many thanks in advance.

Cheers.

Hi,

Welcome you post on the forum.

You need to check address format under Administration > Setup > Business Partner > Address Format. Each country can only set up one format. Be careful to change it.

Thanks,

Gordon

Hi Gordon,

Thanks!

I tried but I guess this is for suppliers and customers' address format?

My company address format somehow remains the same.

Hi Sara.......

Welcome to SAP Business One Forum....

The Address Setting in Address Format is applicable for all the addresses you have in your DB including your Company as well as Warehouse Address. You need to do lilttle bit more setting for that. Follow the below steps...

Go to Adminstration> Setup> Business Partner--> Address Format.

Arrange or create new Address Format as per your requirement.

Again Go to Adminstration> Setup> Business Partner--> Countries.

Find the Country for which you have set address format and select address format name in Drop down of Countries and Tick the same in EU Column......

Hope this will help you......

Rahul

Since this was such an issue for me I actually wrote a short explanation on how to work with the address formats and make them print out in Crystal Reports.
