hardware requirement for hosted environment

we want to host SAP B1 for one our client at our premises. all users of client will access SAP through Citrix. we are planning to host SAP and citrix on single server. number of users will be 10-15. what will be hardware requirement. there is one sap add on (copy express) and one customized add on.

i also have this file and according to this i will require aroung 4 GB RAM for 10-12 users. but unable to calculate no of cores abd cache ram of processor.

greetings of the day.

well the hardware and software requirements are as per the need of ur usage.

if u r looking at 15 users, then u need to have atleast 1GB for every 4 users in the intranet.

if again via citrix, then u need more.

well the suggestion that can be recommended is that u can have the following.

8 GB RAM

250GB HDD if no other application is running, if any other application then its better u have 500GB with RAID 1+0.

Xeon Processor would be the best with two processors.

two sockets.

preferably IBM server.

well u can have Xeon processors which r quad core and this will take care of the speed and the raid would take care of the writing and reading speed.

its better u have two processors, processors r costly and the prices have gone up recently.
