DEAR gurus

1. how to dismantel a bom .(T- code)

2. how to break a subcontracted material in to its initial components....as note book needs to be dismanteld to its initial raw components.Is it possible?

Hi SIr,

As per yours question this is being possible if you want it to be reprodcued throgh rewok production order.Either you may do it through Co07-production order without material where the material you have to dismantle putas first line items and others material which are to be coming after dismantling as negative abd those used for amking it as positive.After confirmation ,in goods movement tabsa following movement types will appear

101 For the finished material

261 for fresh consumed materials

531 for the discarded materials as by-products

Revrts back for any clarification

Hi Sir,

You could do the reprodiution order through Co01 also.For this you have to make slight change in

Goto OPL8,Automatic Selection of production Version As "0".In routing tab in routing type put "S".Routing Selction as 1-refrence routing only.Creat a new selection ID by using "OPEB"Here creat a new selection crieteria for selction of refrence opeartion sets.

Rest as explained earlier, create the production order with the material to be dismantlle , all componenets which hav come out as negative in production order BOM and new used materials as positive in BOM.

For finished materials mvts type-101

By-Product Materials-531

For Consumed material-261

Dear Harsh,

Checkout this procedure,

1.A production order without material using CO07 will be created .

2.And in the BOM components will be entered in - ve quantity,so that their stock will get uploaded using 531 movement as a By-

Product.And enter the header material in + quantity so,that its getting issued using 261 movement.

3.But for this ,the same has to finalised with FICO & MM consultants as accoun determination for 531 movement should be

configured.

Dear Harsh,

The process suits for a product dismantling(the final product).It may be a in-house manufacture or sub-contracted product.

If your requirement is to consume the header material and bring in the stock for its components you can try and the results.
