Transport of content repository,storage category

Hi,

We have setup content server for our development system and have tested it,it is ok. Now i want to know,how do we go ahead for our QA environment.

Should we transport the configuration from Dev to QA or we need to open each client separately(QA and production) and define the content repository and storage category?

Sap note 655224 is not very clear.Can anyone clarify?

Answer: you need to open each separately and define the content repository and storage category. They are not transportable and are client dependent.

We tried transporting.

Is it due to this that we get error message 26253 "Error while checking in and storing C:\...."?
