Incorrect Display of Date Time column...

Hi,

I am using rich client with the source as Excel file connected through a dataprovider.

There is a column in the excel which is Date and Time, this field when displayed in the rich client shows time to be an hour later.

Ex: 12:00 AM shows as 1:00 AM.

Surprisingly this is happening for the months Dec, Jan, Feb, March. (All other months show up as 12:00 AM correctly)

I guess is it any properties setting made for Day light Savings. but I am not sure.

Does anyone came across such issue?

Excel Data:

Column1 Column2

1/1/11 6:00 AM 100

2/1/11 4:00 AM 101

3/1/11 7:00 AM 102

4/1/11 10:00 AM 103

5/1/11 12:00 AM 104

6/1/11 12:00 AM 105

7/1/11 11:00 AM 106

8/1/11 12:00 AM 107

9/1/11 12:00 AM 108

10/1/11 7:00 AM 109

11/1/11 12:00 AM 110

12/1/11 9:00 AM 111

Hi,

I have tried to create a new report based on your data.Correct value are not coming in the report due to excel data.

In my excel data is coming like " 1/01/2011 6:00:00 a.m. ".so i have removed the dot after m.now my data is " 1/01/2011 6:00:00 a.m ".After that data in the report is coming correct.

Check your data in the excel.

Hope this helps you.

Thanks,

Amit

Thanks for your reply Amit.

Unfortunately on my excel sheet there are no dots after A or M.

When I type 1/1/2011 6:00:00 and format the cells to Date Time, it automatically takes it as 1/1/2011 6:00:00 AM

Worth mentioning I guess, I am using Excel 2007 and saving it as .xls file.

Just an Update on this issue.

It is a known bug in BOXI3.1 sp2 and would be fixed in sp4.
