Problem with ABAP provisioning

Hello ,

I have installed NW IDM 7.1 on Windows with Oracle 10.2 on HP-UX.

I am able to connect successfully to one of my ABAP sysetms and read the data with initail data load job. But when I try to create a userid on the same ABAP system the background job fails with an error:

com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception:(101) RFC_ERROR_PROGRAM: Missing R3NAME=.. or ASHOST=.. in connect_param in RfcOpenEx,

Init failed

I have not installed the Oracle client and SAP JVM but instaed using the ODAC and JRE 1.6 but not sure if this has something to do with the error.

Hi,

Check the repository constants and the value for connection used in the destination tab of the pass.

Also verify the account used in the repository has create rights on SAP system.

Hi, are you using different repositories for reading and for creating users.

Because the RFC error for various reasons like host details are wrong, the user id wrong etc.
