MDM ABAP API in SRM

Hi,

Is it possible to use the MDM ABAP API also in an SAP SRM system 7.0?

In all the threads I only see the ECC system and never the SRM system.

Maybe somebody can tell me, if I am correct with my doing with these ABAP API.

In the MDM the users map products to an u201CMasku201D.

In my case, a product can change in the SRM system and I need an function to inactivate these existing product in the MDM (this I know how it works).

But after these I need to create the new product in the SRM (this I also know how it works) and link the new product to the u201CMasku201D where the old product was linked.

Will this work with the MDM ABAP API, because I need to handle the catalog items table in the MDM and also the mask table.

i am not sure on what u are exactly trying ... but to make it simple - if u are trying to access the MDM ABAP APIs from the SRM ABAP env. - its very much possible.
