Enter valid code message on COA DTW Import

Forum,

I am trying to perform an import of COA for a US company. Whilst i've been able to get the first few levels in, upon trying to import a list of active GL account codes I get the following message in DTW:

No: 1

Status: Created Failed

Key: 0010

Reason: Enter calid code Application-defined or object-defined error65171

I do not understand why I am getting this message. Would anyone be able to assist?

Regards,

Juan

Do you use normal or segregated CoA?

You need to leave Code empty. Only enter FormatCode.

I have placed them in the 'FormatCode' column. Now when I try to perform the import through DTW, I get the following message:

No: Status: Key: Reason:

1 Created Failed at_Other Data too Large for the field65171

2 Created Failed at_Other Data too Large for the field65171

3 Created Failed at_Expenses Data too Large for the field65171

When I place the 'FormatCode' column at the beginning of my import file, i get the following message:

No: Status: Key: Reason:

1 Created Failed Code <Errorlist><Error>System ID =141662312, Line Number = 1, ColumnNumber = 79, Description = The namespace of element 'schema' must be from namespace. <Error><Error>SystemID = 141662312, Line Number = 1, Column Number = 99, Description = The names

This error message is usually linked to unmatch version of DTW.

I don't have an issue with the parent key. This has been imported and validated. It's referring to the code column which is only four characters long.

It still won't import. To date my file looks like this:

Code: Name: Active Account FatherAccountKey AccountType AcctCurrency

0010 Leasehold Improvements tYES 00100 at_Other USD

0015 Intangible Assets tYES 00100 at_Other USD

0020 Website Development tYES 00100 at_Other USD

The code start with leading 0 would be troublesome. If possible, avoid to use them. If that is mandatory, make sure they are entered as text.

These fields are stored as text fields. I have even tried to import in blocks and also omitted codes beginning with 0. It still fails to import.

HI

The error file will be created right...

So you check the error file and check the account code again and also check the other related fields...
