Connect BO server

All,

In our landscape we also have a BO server present.

Can this be linked to the SAP Solution Manager system in a standard way or is this not done?

Hi Dimitri,

If by standard way you mean using RCA then yes it can be done with some limitations as mentioned below.

"SAP Solution Manager 7.0 will support component specific Root Cause

Analysis for SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise as of EhP1 with some

limitations. Managed systems can be connected to SAP Solution Manager.

This requires some manual steps.

- Solution Manager EhP1 is properly installed and configured. For BOE

systems running on Windows, you need Solution Manager EhP1 sp20 or

upper. For BOE systems running on Unix like operating systems you need

Solution Manager EhP1 sp21 or upper.

- Wily Enterprise Manager (8.2 or upper) is properly installed and

configured. If not, follow the step below to install instrumentation

manually (you need at least EM 8.0)"
