Wrong physical inv settlement

Dear All,

we have done inventory settlement with mvt type 701 and 702...now we found some of them were wrong entries..and we are not able to cancel these mat documents...so how to do it?

701 doc should be reverse by 702...only this is the soln...or there is any?

Hi,

You have only option to create a new physical inventory document, count, and post the differences.

702 movement is not reversal of 701.

702 movement happens when you want to nullify stock.Ticking 'ZC' in MI07 / MI10 will result in 702.

701 movement happens When you want to do physical stock adjustment.

Quantity entered will replace existing stock with physical stock lying at warehouse.

create a new physical inventory and count again and enter the count and post the difference.

A physical inventory cannot be reversed after posting a difference
