MIGO - Posting date & Entry date comparison

Hi All,

Below is the requirement in Tcode MIGO-

If system date is from 01.05.2011 to 15.05.2011 allow entries between posting date 01.05.2011 to 15.05.2011

And if system date is 16.05.2011 to 31.05.2011, then allow entries between posting date 16.05.2011 to 31.05.2011

How can I control this ?

Requirement in Client words - " I want to close MM period every fortnightly"

try this badi : MB_MIGO_BADI , here u can add your own logic for checking the Posting date VS the system date, and you cna issue the error message as required. take help of abaper.

Please make settings for fiscal year variant in TXn OB29 and OB37.Create FV with 24 half period and assign the same to company code.

What will be consequences from MM / FI perspective, if I create the fiscal year variant as suggested by you & in mid now I assign new fiscal year variant (24 periods). My company is currently operating in 12 periods.
