Mass clearance of negative stock in storage type 904.

Hi Experts,

One of our client's requirement is to clear all the negative stocks in storage type 904. We noticed that there are about 1000 materials which are in negative stock in 904. We also noticed that the respective return deliveries are deleted.

Is there any standard way for clearing the negative stocks at once, instead of clearing it material by material?

Please advise.

Unfortunately, there is no mass way to clear this stock in this particular storage type. We could have thought of alternate options if the bin was static but typically this storage type has dynamic storage bins in the form of deliveries. You may use LT10 if the full source bin quantity can fulfill the negative quantity in 904 however, you still have to move one by one since the destination bin will be different. This will just be an alternative to LT01 wherein you have to key in all the data manually.

There are a number of ways to achieve this

1. Find the positive stock that relates to the negative (and probably does not physically exist) and use LT10 or LT01 to move the positive to 904 and clear the negatives

2. In your config in LE> WM> Activities > Physical Inventory > Clear differences (Interface to Inventory Management) amd select

'Do not allow clearing in Storage Types' and remove the tick from 904 then you can use LI21 to clear everything out of 904 as you do with 999

BUT if there is a positive stock innthe warehouse that does not physicaaly exist you should use the first option otherwise the stock will still show there and increase your stock and value
