What is the difference between the below? When does it will impact ?

L VL 150 E --- Only & & of material & & available

L A VL 150 I --- Only & & of material & & available

L A VL 150 "I"

The highlighted alphabet is the difference. One will give an information whereas the other one will give an error message.

It is not just about E & I

Below one is having difference Workphase A (while the first one w/o Workphase A)

One is delivery with reference to a preceding document and the other one is without any reference.

Hi RG,

In the below messages "I" will be an information message where as the "E" will be an Error message.

Error messages will not allow you to proceed with the transaction.

Information messages are only for information.

In below messages the & will be replaced by variable values such as quantity and UOM while displaying the messages.

Eg: Only 10 Kg of material available.

Hope this explains your doubts.
