Team viewing in MSS

Hi gurus,

in MSS

Team view should only display the direct reportees of the person who is viewing it.

For example: If Manager wants to view the list of employees who has applied for leave to him he should only be ableto see his reporteelist and not his peers or the entire HR departments leave.

please throw some light on this

what a mss user sees or specifically who a mss user sees is totally configurable via oadp. if you run a search in this forum you will find ample threads with loads of info on the same.

You have to make use of the correct evaluation path

under table V_ptreq_team, you put the path there

and make your using v_T77AW

when i use MSS_RPT_SELECT in group organization view in table V_PTREQ_TEAM

now i can see the direct reporters .

but the problem is i can only see the direct reporters from one department , the requirement was to see all the employees from other derartments who is reporting to the manager.

throw some light on this.

Then you should define a different evaluation path

Please check teh tables V_ptreq_team and V_T77aw there are many paths defined

like you could make use SAP_MANG and tweak a little for adjusting your requirement, please refer the wiki steps to do so

HI Siddharth,

the issue is solved,

i have customized the standard evaluation path SBESX by adding

S B 002 Is Line supervisor of * S

and created two rule groups

Zteamview -- rule for team view- org unit( i have used SAP_MANG evaluation path)

Zteamview1 -- rule for team view- target object(i Have used ZSBESX Evaluation Path)
