Multiple Old number for one material codes

Hi Experts,

Actually we are consolidating our business in different - different countries. Now we are facing one challenge, actually in different - different countries the same material having different different old code number.

So explain me how can I maintain different old mateiral code plant wise. Which field should I use to achieve this.

In basic view there's only 1 field. In case you want to maintain more than 1 you can create this via classification mechamism.

The old material comes under MARA table which is common.It cannot be maintained plant wise.

So find a field in material master whee u can enter the old matl number.

Then u can create a new report or query for getting the details
