Hi zkarnalkar,

As per my knowledge it is possible to change same group.

Generally we are having 2 groups one is BS group second P&L group.

Ex: If u create GL Accounts group 100000 - 20000 given grouping ( Balance sheet)

you can able to change in BS Group with other name Fixed Assets 100000 to 100500 & Loan a/c 100501 - 100900.

same stile we can change the P&L a/cs also with other grouping

Note: we can not change BS a/c in to P&L Grouping.

Dear:

If you assign new account group and to old GL accounts then the number range defined for OBD4 for new account group may conflict with the GLs defined earlier. You have to create New Account group with same number range as created earlier so that existing GL could be assigned to them . If you don't do so you will not be able to change account group. Then in FSE2 you will have to changing Mapping of FS items. This would be a massive task to do so specially in FSV Mapping.

Dear:

There is no issue other than FSV mapping in FSE2. You can go ahead with the change . First do it development client and then transport it to production system.
