Automating Project Closure

Our Client has a rquirement with regards to automating project closure.

This is what he wants:

- When final settlement is done the status must change from REL to TECO

-On saving with the TECO status the follwing must happen:

• Perform final confirmations on activities or give error if automated conformation is not possible

• to give error if settlement is incomplete (still actual costs on project)

• Workflow to Asset controller to create asset and set status to CLSD

• Provide Authorization role which will be assigned to Asset Controller to stop users to undo TECO project

Any help with regards to these requirements wil be greatly Appreciated

Hi,

I think Automating Project closure is not possible in std. sap. Refer sap help documents & search relevant thread in forum.

you need to go for Z development. there are many user exit / Badi / Bapi available for PS. please search the forum and choose the one suites your requirement.
