Dispaly Data in CUBE====>Dispaly discription in the EXCEL

Hi all,

we have the data in Cube.By right click the Cube==> select option Display data we can see the data in the Cube.In the first row of the CUBE shows the Description of the info object.When we export the data to EXCEL the fist row in the EXCEL shows the technical names of the info object.But our requirement is to display the Description then the technical names.

Please help he how to display the descriptions in the EXCEL.

Hi ,

Description will be shown in excel , if the infoobject description is small .Otherwise, Excel will show the technical names only as they are smaller than field desriptions.

The info object description is just 40 char..even though we could not achieve..

Any other way out for this..!!

The description of fields must be upto 10 characters to achieve your requirement .
