BPC 10 NW Installation

Hi,

During the Post installation steps, UJS_CONTENT_ACTIVATE needs to be run to create the Default ENvironment Shell.

The Program as part of SP01 has these options

Delete the environment

Clean the Environment

Rest of the options for creating Environment Shell & associated components.

The issue is, I deleted the environment shell using the above option(thinking it would not have been created properly as there were network issues & disconnectivity).

Now, Im not able to re create it back using the above program.

How do i re create Default Environment shell if it is deleted by mistake.

Thanks

Sridhar

Hi Sridhar,

As rich mention you need to Run from Se38 make sure you select what the installation guide said and install it. If you can provide the detail of the error may be we can help you on that.

Please give point if it's usefull.

Hi,

I'm experiencing the same issue. I deleted the environmentshell appset and now I can't create it again.

If I run the Activation, it gives an information and a succesfull message (after just a second):

UJT_EXCEPTION I 109 There is no environment-dependent entity to be imported

UJS_EXCEPTION S 004 Activation completed successfully

IF i run deletion after i get:

.

UJA_EXCEPTION E 115 Environment ID ENVIRONMENTSHELL does not exist

Same error i get in the web frontend.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Diego

Hi ,

For the above issue, once the environment shell is deleted,... you are not able to re create by running UJS_ACTIAVTE_CONTENT.

The Business content delivered also gets deleted (when you delete the environment) .. I think UJS program is not capable of re creating the business content. It just activates it.

Further, this issue was resolved in my case by doing the following steps.

Import the Transport as mentined in Note 1574604. IF you are already in SP01 And deleted the Environment shell, then you need to check the "Dont compare versions" option while doin the imports.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Sridhar

What is the error that you are getting when trying to re-create the Environmentshell? If you have already installed Environmentshell before, you don't need to check all of the checkboxes in the UJS_ACTIVATE_CONTENT program. You only need to check the check box for "Activate Environment".
