ABAP Proxy

Hi All,

I am configuring a JDBC - XI - R/3(ABAP Proxy) scenario. The scenario works fine if I configure the receiver to a <xxx> client in R/3, but when I configure the same sceanario for another client in R/3, it gives me an error in XI. The error Id I get in SXMB_MONI in XI server is "SYSTEEM_NOT_CONFIGURED_AS XMB".

Kindly let me know what this error means?

Hi Jai,

In the Receiving R/3 system

Go to SXMB_ADM->Configuration->Integration Engine Configuration->Choose your R/3 system as Application System

Hi Sridhar,

Thanks for the timely help. I went to the R/3 and found the system was not configured as an application system. That was the cause of the error.
