How to configure Automatic reorder point with schedule MRP run

Hi All,

How to configure the automatic reorder point planning with schedule MRP run and what are all the parameters to define the MRP1 and MRP2 in material master. Kindly list me the step by step to achieve the above.

Hello,

1] Use MRP type as "VB" on MRP1 screen on Material Master

2] Enter Reorder point on the same screen MRP1

3] Decide Lot size - usually EX (Lot for lot) or FX (Fix lot) on MRP1

4] Maintain Minimum stock level

5] Enter Procurement type = F on MRP2

6] Enter Safety stock on MRP2 screen

Run MRP..
