Costing Run Material Ledger.

Hi Gurus,

We now open our system, we are uploading material master and initial stock upload. For costing run(Product costing run) it will take two months.

i need your advise can i run costing run for Material ledger, is there any impacts.

Hi Ramesh ,

I hope you clearly understand the purpose of ML.. ML is for actual costing and Costing Run is for plan cost estimate ..

So , after you finish your costing run.. you will start posting your actuals ..

Then in month end , you will require to roll -up the variances to COGS and Inventory to get the actua cost and this is done using the Material Ledger run .. CKMLCP..
