Sir,

I want to create a inspection lot at the time of delivery

please tell me what are the step involved in this process with t code

Hi !

There are few scenarios for inspection in delivery, like do you want inpsection before delivery or after, you want inspection with PGI or not.

In simple, suppose you want inspection before delivery, with 02 inspection origin (for PGI). In that case maintain inspection type 10/11 and 02 for the material. Now you can maintain customer info record in QV51 and maintain "before delivery"--This will ensure you clear inspection lots of origin 10 (Those created on delivery creation) first before doing PGI.

Another setting Sujit has already mentioned. Make sure you have corrcet usages and plans in place.

Now when you create a delivery, inspection lot of 10/11 origins created. Do RR and UD. Come back to delivery screen and make PGI . Clear lot of 02 origin.

Now activating 02 inspection is dependent on customer requirement, similarly, use of "after delivery" and "before delivery is also depends on the requirement in hand.

You have to activate either 10,11 or 12 inspection type for the same.After sales order ,while creating outbound delivery ,while picking inspection lot will be created in the background.

T codes are VA01>vl01n->qa32--->make UD

in customization

qcc0--->quality inspection > inspection lot creation > inspection at shipping> Assign Inspection Type to Delivery Category
