SRM External Catalog - CCSI link not working

Hello,

We are doing an SAP upgrade in all of our system. We recently upgraded our SRM sandbox "SRT" and SRM DEV "SRD" recently to SPS10.

We are using CCSI catalog interface using external catalogs through a vender website for purchasing in SRM. As per attached document u201CCCIS Catalog link is not opening.docxu201D, after upgrading SRM DEV system we are unable to open the CCIS catalog link from the shopping card in SAP portal browser. CCSI link is currently only failing in SRM DEV after upgrade but it is not failing in SRM SBX which was also upgraded to the same patch level as DEV. CCIS catalog link was working in DEV before to upgrade.

Actions taken by our SRM and Basis team so far to troubleshoot the issue:

1.SRM team confirmed that CCIS catalog standard call structure in SPRO in SBX, DEV and QA are identical in all systems. Their guess is SPS10 upgrade in SRM DEV might have affected CCSI link.

2.SRM team also tried manually opening external vender website (used in as SRM catalog configuration) to see if there are any issue with the website, and they find no issues.

3.Basis team enabled HTTP trace and tried accessing the link to get the exact HTTP errors while accessing CCSI link, and we found no trace entries at all while executing CCSI link. It is hard to tell weather itu2019s a functional issue or basis issue.

4.Basis team also checked for short dumps or system log errors in SRM DEV system and found no error messages reported in the system while executing the link.

5.SAP notes u201C1287412 & 1405908u201D explains some external catalog issue with some config steps to fix it, however SRM team is hesitant in applying config changes from the notes as the CCIS configuration in SPRO is still the same in SRM SBX & DEV.

Given the symptoms of our CCIS link problem, we are unable to judge if itu2019s a Basis technical issue or SRM functional issue.

Any ideas what could be the problem ?

Hello Harshal,

We have recently deployed SPS10 on SRM 7.0 and we have similar issue with all internal and external catalogues. Have you been able to resolve this?

This issue can be resolved with manual changes as per OSS note 1398165. Apparently, SAP has not provided this manual note as a part of SPS10 deployment. This is a side effect of SP05 but surprisingly has not been part of SP10
