Hi All,
One of my clients needs to have the pricing conditions in the conditions tab of the Billing document in Non editable mode..ie, it should be greyed out....be it in VF01 or VF02.
is there any user exits avaiable for the same in Billing? How about using authorizations at user id level to maek the restrictions?
Basically what client wants is to restrict the edition of pricing components in the Billing document.
Can any one plz throw some light on this?
Thanks & Regards,
Nithin
In such case , you can change the settings in the Condition Type.Make it as D (Not possible to process manually). You would have to check the Copy Control settings as Pricing Type with -- Copy Manual Pricing Components.

Hi Ankur,
But still u have the option of updating the pricing manually in Billign Document right?
My client wants the condition tab in billing tab non editable- be it in VF01/VF02 mode. Couple of pricing conditions are entered manually in Sales order and same needs to be freezed in the billing document.
The requirement is related with return order and the return credit note created w.r.t to the same and the returns delivery.
Thanks & Regards,

Hi Ankur,
Half the requirement is taken care off...
What we need to do is unmark the settings from the condition type in V/06 which would enable it to chagne the Amount/Qty and value in further processing and the Pricing Type C in Copy control Item level will also help the cause where in it will copy all manual pricign conditions and redetermine others condition types be it Price related or tax related.
But here i need to disable or grey out the update option in the condition tab in Billing document as when you do that manula condition types needed to be entered again. The same should be applicabel to all the users and therefore authorization is not an option.
Please throw some light on this possibility
Thanks & Regards,
Nithin
If the requirement is to prevent only in billing but not in sale order (that is in sale order, changes can be made), then check this thread
[Pricing value not to editable in billing creation |;
On the other hand, if the control should be implied on both sale order and billing, then as already stated, in condition type V/06, maintain "D" for the field Manual Changes.

Hello,
the SAP note [105631 |https://bosap-support.wdf.sap.corp/sap/support/notes/105631]explains how to hide pricing fields depending on the user authorization.
You could adapt this workaround for your needs.

Ivano.
