Avoid modification in quality and production system

Dear All,

We are implenting the CTS+ system for our (SRM) portal.

How can we forbid direct modification on quality and production system (to force everybody to use the transport system)?

You can do this by restricting the access in your QA and Prod portal systems.

1. You can choose not to assign Content Administration to any one

(or)

2. You can choose to create a read only version of the content administration role and assign it to users.

If I understand you right, the only possibility is to do this by restricting the roles. There is no functionality like SCC4?
