Hi,
I have an oracle table with a field of type timestamp.
cannot map this field. The report is empty.
Is there a way to work with timestamps?

Versions XI R1 or R2 didn't support the Oracle timestamp data type. Check out the following kbase for a bit of info.

I use Oracle Client 10.2.0.3 from Oracle company.
I use Ole Db as database connection.
I use Cr 2008.SP3 Fixpack 3.5
Cannot see the timestamp Field in report designer.

Cause
Crystal Reports doesn't supports the following Oracle data type:
Timestamp
Timestamp with time zone
Timestamp with local time zone
when connecting to Oracle using the following connections:
ODBC
OLEDB
Resolution
To report from Oracle timestamp data type fields, connect to Oracle using the Oracle Native (Oracle Server) connection.
Us the Native Oracle connection in your report.

Also, go into [Crystal Report Forum|; and search on "timestamp"
You'll find lots of help on how to. Also, If the designer doesn't allow you to browse or it doesn't show the field then either the DB driver you are using on the Client PC doesn't support it or CR is not aware of the field type for your database.
