Equipment deletion

Hi Experts,

How can we delete an equipment permanently from SAP? I set the deletion flag of the equipment, eventhough it is getting displayed in Reports.There are no task lists assigned to this equipment.

Is there any program to delete Equipments manually?

Before that, make sure that measurement documents have been deleted. You can find the help in the link which Shail mentioned in his post.

you should use archiving object PM_EQUI and Make sure they are no dependencies and if they exist then dependencies should be archived first ..

Hi Shailendra,

thanx for your reply.When I tried executing RIARCEQ1 program for archiving equipment,I got the following error:

Archiving not possible, usage found

Measuring Point 000000002514

Measuring Point 000000002513

I de activated measuring points for this equipment.Even though I am getting the same error.

Can you pls help me in sorting out this issue?

Make sure they are no dependencies and if they exist then dependencies should be archived first ..

can you pls explain me how to archive measuring points created for the equipment?

I made measuring points inactive but it couldn't solve my proble.What are the tcodes used for archiving equipment master?
