For error 'KD574' please first of all see Note: 198931. In order to settle in different periods it is afforded to keep in mind
the functionality of settlement in CO:
- All costs up to the settlement period selected in CJ88 are summed up
- The selected costs are then settled to the receivers of the sender according to the settlement rule.
If You want to settle to different periods You may have to settle twice (first period N, afterwards period N+1).
In order to manage that the costs are selected correctly You may have to add a validity date to the settlement rule (field valid
from).
It may then occurr that error KD574 will pop up again. In this case please change it to a warning in transaction OBA5 and settle the order in the affected periods (CJ88 has to be run twice in the requested periods).
As long text of the error message says, the reason for the message can be because:
- There are no distribution rules with settlement type FUL
- The total percentage of the rules is greater than 100%
- Only amount rules were maintained
Note
When you settle an investment measure in full (FUL), the costs settled are those incurred on the asset under construction up until the settlement period but not yet settled to a completed asset or to another CO receiver.
When you partially capitalize an investment measure (settlement using processing type 3 if the measure has not yet reached the Technically completed status), single costs from the asset under construction can be settled to the completed asset. Alternatively, you can settle them to another CO receiver.
Furthermore, when you settle an investment measure in full or partially, origin data are transferred to the completed asset for data origin display.
Procedure
Maintain distribution rules or use partial settlement.
