Hi,

Noted item , at the time of posting does not effect your accounting figues. But it can be seen through reports. Noted item can be used for two purpose-

1. Reporting only- Here there is no requirement to create a entry from this noted item. The eg fior this is TCode f-49 or f-57. These entries are required mainly for the stautory notes to accounts only. These documents needs to reversed once reporting has been done.

2. For converting in them entry by lateral transactions- Special G/L transactions are also used to manage noted items. These are postings that are not displayed in your accounts but are only to remind you of outstanding payments due or to be made. You can process them with the payment program or dunning program. As a result, it is possible to dun outstanding down payments or to make down payments with the payment program. To do this, you enter and store a down payment request . This special document does not update the account balance: it is merely managed as a line item in the open item account and the special G/L account. Therefore, you should always mark the Line item display option for these accounts. e.g. for this is TCode f-47.

Dear:

Noted items are special transactions which do not have financial impacts on Financial. You can make special GL indicator for posting as noted item in FBKP for special GL transaction by going to their properties and checking noted items. Noted items when posted hits GL . Noted items examples include Down payment requests made through F-47 or F-37 e.t.c

Hi,

Noted item generated at the time of Request for down payment.

This is just for information purpose and this will not hit your Finance until you get the down payment against that request.
