XI Alerting and Central Monitoring : some alerts remain on PI

Hello,

We have recently installed a PI 7.11 landscape Ehp1 SPS 05.

I have configured the central moniting so that the XI alerts are gathered on our Solution Manager ALM.

It is working ... for most of the alerts , when I run the report SXMSALERT_LOGREADER on PI,

I can observe that the alerts are transferred to the monitoring server :

20110528140651,7960000 0 28.05.2011 16:06:51 67946054FABA4CFD06ECDB642BBCFBD4

*Calling Monitoring Server starting new task

AlertRecords successfully delivered

But, unfortunatly, some Alerts continue to be generated on the PI server, I don't know how it is possible,

the alerts are actually proxy error PI ---> ECC6

*Call SALRT_CREATE_API(From::BS_FileAct_swift:: To::P01360:CollectivePaymentOrderNotification_In:http://sap.com/xi/APPL/Global2)3C4A92E05DE41EE0A0A984FEA

*Alert created:<AlertId:00043><RuleName:ALERT RULE ALL ERRORS><AlertCategory:alert>

The alerts are actually application error PI ---> ECC6 involving the Proxy adapter.

When I run the transaction SXI_Monitor on PI, I see no error.

When I run the transaction SXI_Monitor on ECC6 (P01360), there are actually some applicative errors.

Is it the expected behaviour ? Or is there a way to transfer 100% of the PI alerts (even the applicative errors) to the central monitoring server ?

Thank you

Best Regards.

Try removing the "CentralMonitoringServer-XIAlerts" RFC connection from both systems (proxy and PI). Then, ensure all com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.* parameters are configured correctly on PI (restart system to apply changes on exchange profile) and try executing the scenarios again.

Check the target CCMS system the RSALERTDISP report and see if the alerts are being received there.

Thank you Lucas,

Indeed, I didn't consider the RFC destination CentralMonitoringServer-XIAlerts on the proxy ECC ...
