Blocking Lab Office to a particular file type

Can anyone help me to know HOW CAN WE LOCK A LAB/OFFICE TO A PARTICULAR FILE TYPE SO THAT IT DOSEN'T GET INTO ANY OTHER LAB/OFFICE.

Ex:

File Type: TPT

Lab/Office Avilable

201

202

203

I want File Type TPT to go only to Lab 201 it should not accept any any other Lab/Office.

Not possible in standard SAP.

Not possible in standard behavior.

A workaround that i would propose is the use of 'Classification' feature in DMS(search previous forums for details).You may look at defaulting your lab values against specific document types.

Hi,

I am not aware of any standard out of box customization for this, only thing I can think of is defaulting the Lab office based on Doc Type using custom enhancement.

By the way did you mean file type (based on extension) or document type?
