Importing profit center group to live system

Hello Experts,

Business wants to have a new profit center group/ hiearchy for reporting purposes. The PCG has been created in test system and contain some of the group from profit center standard hierarchy.

I am planning to export the new group from test system and import it in live system. Can you please let me know if, I am importing the new hiearchy to live system, whether it will impact the standard hierarchy in live system? I don't want the standard hierachy to be changed while importing the new profit center group in live system. The groups common in standard hierarchy and the profit center group, should have structure same as live hierarchy.

Hi

Your PC Group has a Sub Group say, ABCD which is also a part of Std Hier...

You dont want ABCD to get disturbed in the LIVE System.. For this, you need to ensure that ABCD in test systen and Live system is same to same...

If you ensure that, you need not worry.. Just Export the group from KCH3 and import from KCH2 in Live system
